Summary:
Homo sapiens homovorus also known as Vampires emerged triumphantly over their prey, humans. They have sharp canine fangs to pierce their prey’s soft skin. They are quick with both the mind and the body.
History:
Roughly 90 thousand years ago a mutation against the Homo sapiens X-Chromosome underwent an abrupt change to the central nervous system and the brain. Thus, creating a new species entirely from Homo sapiens.
FAMOUS VICTORS:
Vampires lived among humans for decades before they were found. At first their covenant was small and held to their own by a smart King who kept them in the shadows. When humans began to notice the missing or connection to the deaths through autopsies, the vampire’s lord would send them into torpor for years before allowing them to feed. They were protected by their servants when in this vulnerable stage.
When the King found out that one of his knights was feeding openly in a nearby village he condemned him to ten years of torpor, but the knight refused and instead challenged the King to overthrow him. This led to the King being put in a torpor until further notice. This divided the covenant. The knight king took control and allowed a feeding frenzy to control their food source by fear. The others, who stayed loyal to the old way and the ‘true’ king, branched off and started their own covenant. But they learned quick that human’s are judgemental and will deem their whole species an enemy.
Since then, they were hunted, captured, and tortured, until their was no room left of the old ways. They were cornered into defensive strategies. They soon began creating alliances with the other species that the humans hunted and through their dark channels they crafted an uprising against humans taking a portion of the world back with every strategic battle.
Once they one victor, they aligned themselves with the help of the witches creating a sacrificial ritual every year to make sure their spell was never broken. Thus creating the Monster Bowl. The ritual was kept a secret and lost to most as time continued. But in needing the humans for food, they allowed them sanctuary in a city far from th rest of the species cities. They would occasionally visit their president and give him supplies in exchange for blood. That is until their scientists were able to create rejuvenating organs sustainable in labs deeming the humans of nonimportance. They would withdraw their aid to the humans and break the contract.
