Modern day humans have succumbed to their actions. Over the most recent century, humans have looked at every different species as a threat to their survival. When humans began showing signs of their next step of evolution the mass population panicked. With the pressure of staying on the top of the food chain and ever growing murders. Panicked scientists created Patient Z. Patient Z was supposed to infect and wipe out the vampires, but instead the zombies infected only humans. This began the preface of the Species War. Vampires were in a famine because they couldn’t eat Zombies. The Zombie Virus affected a large portion of the world’s population. Biochemical Warfare.

 

Wizards were a high asset in the Species War. Since the beginning they stayed on top of the propaganda and rumors, but they stayed out of the battles. Most witches were seers and guided the timeline through its rocky moment. Others, ones with an evil tendency, planted rumors into the human’s minds, toying with the fabric of time. 

 

While Humans, Vampires, and Zombies were in the forefront of the world, Ghouls and Banshees were created more and more from the gruesome deaths. They were forced to pick sides at first, but deep human monster hunters began hunting and slaughtering units leaving their final decision to stay on the supernatural side of the Species War. With odds stacking up against the humans.

 

Werewolves stayed in the shadows until the very end. They were mostly looked at as the muscle of the Species even though there were far more powerful beings out there. Werewolves were damned, uncontrollable beasts. They were unpredictable and looked at as lesser than most, especially vampires.

 

In the peak of the Species War. Sides were taken and even with all of the science and weaponry that humans had they stood no chance against the others. Though they fought hard and with heart, they were defeated. And since they had many powerful enemies they were left to fend for themselves in a crumbling city, feebly standing with minimal aid from the surrounding monster cities.
